Happy Friday y’aaaall!
How is your friday going? -good I hope! I am so chuffed for the weekend guys and to kick it all off, I wanted to share a little recipe; my utmost favourite hot chocolate recipe, the one I am yet to share with, well anyone. However, I want to change all of that and share it with you. So here it it:
You will need my dear:
- 1 cup of milk (I used semi-skimmed)
- 4 tablespoons of your favourite Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
- Whipped Cream (if you’re serious)
- A small saucepan
- A whisk
Measure out your milk and then pour it into the saucepan. Keep the milk on a low-medium heat, whisking every now and then. Once your milk has come to boil, immediately turn the heat down to low and at this point you can add your cocoa powder, whisk and then add the cinnamon.
Now, you can finally whisk away merrily until you have a nice frothy top, I like to tip the saucepan over to one side to bring the liquidy goodness all together and whisk faster, resulting in a better froth.
For the finishing touches top your megara off with whipped cream and of course, this would not be a megara hot chocolate without the nutmeg!
There is honestly something so magical in going to take your first sip and getting a whiff of the nutmeg, chocolate and cream and then enjoying the spices all combined, I just love it. And I hope you did too guys!
Thanks for reading and don’t miss this weekends W
